Acorn Publisher was 6 issues a year and Acorn User was 13. There were good reasons to try to follow the Acorn User pattern - not least an attempt to ensure that those that had subscribed to Acorn Publisher got the type of magazine they expected. The solution was too complex and far too taxing. The present 9 issues a year is about right and is something I can manage and it gives sufficient flexibility to fit into the RISC OS calendar. Any less wouldn't work as well - any more requires additional staff that we cannot afford.
