sa110: I expect much of the development on the RISC OS Open source to be runnable on other RISC OS versions than RO 5.

Until there is a RO 5 version for the old RPC architecture, the only way forward for the whole platform is to go the same way as Acorn did when they released the Nested Wimp, Castle when they released the 32bit SharedCLib and RO Ltd. when they released the Toolbox modules.
