There's what appears to be a slight mistake in the press release regarding the iMac that will be demonstrating VRPC:
The intel processor used in the current iMacs is called "Core", just as old ones were called "Pentium". If the iMac is fairly recent, it'll have a 2nd generation Core chip (Core 2) with two processors onboard ("Duo"). Therefore "duo-core" should almost certainly read "Core 2 Duo", or possibly "Core Duo" if it's an earlier revision.
Looks like some interesting stuff. I just wish there was a version for hardware I was willing to spend money on. That no longer includes my RiscPC, unfortunately.
