Er, did you read the article? Chris hasn't walked away entirely. From my reading of it, he's planning to revise the site to make it lass labour-intensive to maintain. But given the parlous state of the 'market', he can hardly be blamed for taking his time over it. I would imagine that something will emerge in time. But it will only happen if something miraculous turns the OS and software situation around. A news site does need something to report, after all.
