Please explain why "Omega's fancy FPGA features" are vapourware ATM. I have one Omega sitting here on my desk, wich I have reprogrammed at least 40 times, now (not all official releases, though).
I too tend to stick with software that is still being actively developed. But there are just so many areas where this is not possible. Sound- und video-editing are only two examples, I'm sure other people can come up with more.
