I really hope we see these netbooks but i won't be surprised if they never come out companies have been saying for over a year now that they will be releasing an ARM based netbook but have done nothing but show of dev units at trade shows.

I think the one company that could use an ARM chip is apple if it announces a netbook type device in a couple of weeks at it's WDC event as there is a strong chance they will use an OS based of the iphone software instead of the desktop OSX. Also they bought a semi conductor design company last year which had experience i think with ARM chips though it did also work on powerpc chips.
