"And I don't mean utterly crud applications like Flicker." - rude.

Let's try to be nice to each other. No one likes to be part of a community where people are like this. Whatever you think about a particular piece of software written by someone else, this isn't the place to make comments like that. Any development is good development as far as I'm concerned.
