The only problem with floppy disc protection is the increasing likelihood with age, of the disc becoming corrupted.

I always thought dongles were the best - yes, they are more expensive to make, but harder to copy, and doesnt rely on whether the company that produced it exists or not. I never minded my Artworks and Impression Publisher dongles at the back of my RPC.

Bring back the dongle! ;-)
