I merely copied the login parameters, i.e. version numbers. ICQ is a proprietary system and it is necessary to fake an 'official' client. This worked without a problem for over a year. The fact that the version numbers became out of date is hardly a bug, but clearly an attempt by AOL to tighten up by getting tough on older clients. This is likely to happen on a regular basis and I rather resent the implication that Grapevine is bugged as a result.
