What claptrap! Who are you to say what Castle should have done? Whether you like it or not, Castle's recent moves have been a resounding success - it's given them ownership of the OS that is central to their future, as well as the future of the RISC OS desktop market. It's also allowed the release of the IyonixPC. RISCOS Ltd is hardly any more knowledgeable than Castle - stop and think what Castle has achieved and how much longer they've been developing, compared to RISCOS Ltd. Also think where the engineers currently working on RISC OS at Castle came from.

RISCOS Ltd failed, so Castle moved to protect their business and the market. Tough luck for RISCOS Ltd. That's business. Why do you think Castle is so much more successful in the market than the other businesses? They act like a real business. Like Computer Concepts used to.

If Castle hadn't moved, we'd quite likely still be waiting for a 32bit RISC OS and the hardware to go with it.
