More great PR from ROL. They've actually managed to generate some attention outside the RISC OS world with their £5 offer. But what would a newcomer see, on venturing into RISC OS land? A broken 'sales' site and a publicly-aired legal wrangle over licences. You couldn't make it up.

  • ARM processors to power cute netbooks
    As so many of you have pointed out, a number of little notebook computers, which are all the rage these days, are to be powered by ARM chips, paving the way for a possible RISC OS port to such slimline devices (especially given the recent Ubuntu Linux on ARM announcement) - however there are countless ARM Linux-powered systems available already and yet there's no sign of any RISC OS port for them either...
