Yes, I agree, this is really fantastic news. But I will probably wait until the port is more or less completed ;-)

In reply to broon: I think there will be no need to build your own laptop since there are ARM Laptops or better Netbooks coming along this summer - at least several companies announced that they plan to produce them and it seems logical that they will appear. As far as I understand the good thing about the cortex processor is that it includes many other components for video, IO etc. This will hopefully make it quite easy (for those in the know) to not only get RISC OS running on the beagleboard but also on other devices using the same processor. But I may be wrong...
