RiscCAD treated to website, upgrade packBy Chris Williams. Published: 26th Feb 2005, 13:37:12 | Permalink | Printable
I have a cunning (floor) planRiscCAD author David Buck has finally created a new website dedicated to his professional design software. The site includes screenshots of RiscCAD in action, example designs (from schematics of electronics to architecture) and more details on the features of the 2D CAD package.
Last month, armed with VirtualRiscPC, David returned to the RISC OS platform and slashed the price of his software. He commented: "I am back on the RiscCAD wagon, constantly improving and adding... it is much better to sell a lot at a lower price, than a few at a higher price. I probably won't get very rich, but I get satisfaction knowing RiscCAD is being used by other people to draw and design things."
To coincide with the new website, Dave's also produced an upgrade pack for RiscCAD, which includes 150 new pattern fills and a number of enhancements and speed ups.
