RISC OS clients of things like MSN are usually better than the x86 equivalent in quite a few ways, the most apparent being the absense of any pop up ads. I really hate all the ads in the PC ICQ, I really miss aICQ.
I miss ICQ too, it'd be nice to see a program like Trillian which encompasses all the messaging clients in one ported to RISC OS. But for now i'm happy with MSN. And even more happy if the function to tell when other people are typing is added
Well it's just that for me that's one of the big advantages of MSN - it makes turn-taking so much easier. In fact it's why I use MSN on my PC at uni! Have you any idea how difficult it is to implement?
I see your point. I find it a useful feature though I guess. Could you have an option to use it or not perhaps? I for one would be very grateful for seeing this function however. But of course thanks for porting MSN in the first place!
