New CVS port, MIDI goodness and more

As the Wakefield show disappears over the horizon, we're left with a scene of tranquility. So here's some software news.

New CVS client
CVS port 1.10B

Maarten Bezemer's updated his CVS port, making it 32 bit compatible and adding KeyAgent support. CVS is a version control system that allows software developers to store and manage changes made to a program during its development. Maarten's CVS client was previously covered by us last year.

Updated MelIDI
MelIDI website

MelIDI, the commercial MIDI and audio sequencer application for RISC OS developed by Stephen Borrill, has entered its eigth year of release and we're pleased to see it's still getting updates. Version 1.15 features song integrity checking, a wider range of supported tempos and MIDI Thru mapping.

STD USB software mishap
Stuart Tyrrell Developments

We're informed that a "small batch" of floppy discs supplied at the Wakefield show by Stuart Tyrrell Developments were duplicated incorrectly resulting in a missing file inside the included USBSetup application. The discs were supplied with Simtec USB podules.

If you cannot configure your USB hardware because of a missing file, you can re-download the USBSetup software from the Simtec website (it's included in the USB stack package), or contact STD.

Finally, Wakefield show organiser Chris Hughes has uploaded photographs taken from last Saturday's day out. Hilarious captions, anyone?
