| No time for double-dutch this June |
|
 The RISC OS Expo 2006 show will be going ahead this year after organisers at RISCOS Ltd gathered enough exhibitors for the day. ROL's Paul Middleton has called for any other organisations who are interested in attending the show to get in contact as soon as possible. He previously called for companies to sign up in March shortly after the regular organisers of the RISC OS Expo stepped back from running the affair.
Paul added: "We have now got enough commitments to exhibit to make the event a 'go'. There will not be a separate 'theatre' area, but a portion of the main 'Expo zaal' will possibly used as presentation area."
Those companies so far confirmed as exhibiting are: RISCOS Ltd, CJE Micros, Icon Technology, RISCOS.be, Archive Magazine, Castle Technology, Advantage 6, Big Ben Club, HCC RISC OS Group, and Genesys.
The show will take place on Saturday June 17, with doors open between 10am and 4pm. The venue is the Hotel Mercure in the Netherlands. ROL are hoping to repeat the success of their December road show this summer, and are hoped to have Select 4 released by this point.

Great news indeed - especially since Advantage 6 plans to be there. Pity that some of the regulars of the last years didn't sign up yet. I guess I'll drive there despite it being some 500km ... per directoion. |

That is not so far, 500 km.
Remember: Adv.Six has to travel more than 500 Km.
It is marvellous news, that they are coming to the NL for the
second time. |

Yes... Perhaps because this time it's not been organised by the Big Ben Club, nor sponsored by DESK.
DESK send a Newsshot last year stating they have put their RO activities on low, since there was not enough for them to sell! It has been very quiet around XAT too, I do hope the Impression-X project gets released.
