College gives go ahead for October event
show news motifThe date of this year's South East RISC OS show is Saturday October 20. The event, organised by SASAUG, will be open from 10am until 4pm at the usual venue, Guildford technical college. Developers and dealers have been contacted this month by user group officials after the school's bosses confirmed the availability of the October date.

A series of show theatre presentations is expected to be held hourly from 10.30am until 3.30pm. The final schedule will be published on the day of the event.

It's understood show stand pricings have not been finalised, although developer village stalls are expected to at least remain at the same rate as last year. The show will be the sixth event held by the user group and Fillin Ltd.

A SASAUG member said: "The format of the show will generally be the same as the last five years."

One of the stalwarts of the calendar, it's always been good when I've attended too. Well done all for organising it, I look forward to it.

In reply to em2ac:

That's very bad planning. It looks as if you'll never get to any SE Show ...

Says the man whose daughter's birthday has fallen on or near the same weekend as the Wakefield show for years now! ;)

So I know the attendant aggro!
At least I have the good excuse (in 1978) that I didn't know it would clash with future RISC OS Shows. em2ac has no such get-out! ;-)
