The infamously irascible and irreverent Bastard Operator From Hell, a popular long-running series on top IT website theregister.co.uk, manages to put a wrecking ball through the ever-touchy Apple community - and finishes with a right-hook knock-out for Acorn users.

Midland Christmas show this Saturday The Midland Christmas 2008 RISC OS show is fast approaching - pencil Saturday, December 6 in your diaries. For the organisers, the Midlands User Group, this is a big challenge. While they co-organised the last one with the ARM Club, the organisation for this year's event has been primarily a MUG affair.
