"After more than four years of development, Artex Software are proud to present the realtime strategy game TEK 1608", writes Jan Klose of Artex, the people behind the long awaited strategy game in an email to drobe.co.uk. Jan also confirmed that RISC OS users will be able to purchase TEK at the Wakefield Show 2002, which is taking place this weekend (18/19th May). Bundled with TEK are Artex best-sellers, 'Exodus - The Colonisation of Space' and 'Ankh - The Tales of Mystery' as well as 'BotKiller 1' and 'BotKiller 2'. TEK is to be distributed by R-Comp Interactive. Features According to Artex, the game will feature:
Requirements TEK's minimum system requirements are a RiscStation R7500 or similar computer with 16 MB RAM, 60 MB harddisc space and a CD drive. The recommended system to get the best out of the game is a StrongARM RiscPC with 16 MB RAM, 2 MB VRAM, 60 MB harddisc space and a CD drive. Woo hoo Thank you Artex.
