It appears Simtec have released indepth details surrounding their USB products! More details and drobe comment to follow later.

The API doesn't look interoperable with that of the other card, though it will be interesting to see what solutions are presented to make drivers which work equally well for both systems.

Personally I am going to let the dust settle before I even consider buying a USB card from any source. It will be very very sad if we end up with the situation where a driver exists for a specific device that will only work with the USB cards from a specific manufacturer. -- Victor Shears, Maidstone
