| WROCC secure Artworks 2, USB, Oregano 2 and more |
|

It's less than a month to go now till this year's WROCC organised RISC OS show in Wakefield, where this year show goers get the chance to win an Omega and now (added this weekend) other hot prizes including a Simtec USB card with an MP3 playback drive pen from Stuart Tyrrell Developments, a copy of Oregano 2, a copy of Artworks 2 and plenty more.
We tip our hat to WROCC for pulling off this publicity stunt and let's not be too hasty in forgetting the generosity of the prize donating companies. Besides, even if you don't walk away with a new bit of RISC OS kit, there's always Fleur Designs' circular chess board up for grabs. Which we're sure no one will be upset to win.
Show visitors will be entered into three rounds of prize draws which will be held during the day at 12 noon, 1:40pm and 3:45pm. The WROCC invite you to email them if you intend to turn up to the 10th May event.

Woo Some prizes that will exist. Good PR move
I might just have to go to this event. I want to play on an IyonixPC and see some of this nice new kit.

Checked the flights, look pretty cheap too. Manchester would be the cheapest airport, yeah? Now to find another Irish/Northern Irish Acorn geek to go with

Sparky,
Or you could probably go into Liverpool - might be the same price or cheaper. Depends upon whereabouts you are.

Oops, when I said cheapest, I did of course mean most convenient (to Wakefield). I'd be flying in from Belfast or I could make it from Dublin. Anyone else interested from Ireland?
