DTP Principles guide book available By Chris Williams. Published: 27th Aug 2003, 15:53:25.Choice of a bonus CD-ROM Earlier this month, we learnt that RiscWorld readers got a free DTP guide book in the post. As of today, APDL/ProAction's book DTP Principles is available to all and you can pick a CD-ROM to go with it.
The guide was produced by Foundation editor Richard Hallas and includes topics from document structure to page design to font selection to the Golden Ratio rule. ProAction have billed their guide book as "a platform and software-independent guide to understanding some of the most important fundamentals of word processing and desktop publishing". This isn't the first time ProAction have played publisher, having reprinted First steps in programming RISC OS computers.
