Reply to thread SimonC: Of course usability is important, but it certainly isn't everything. We all spend a lot of time in our lives doing things that aren't very productive, but which we enjoy doing anyway. Often that enjoyment is derived from appearances alone (after all, plenty of people watch TV, go to the cinema, go to art galleries etc.) Maybe some people just want to have the same enjoyment when they use a computer?
