Just one slightly negative point, on my machine, it (the ROS 5.10/latest HID) stops Linux from loading - I just get a blank screen needing a rest. Probably not many not many !HID+Iyonix Linux users though. ArthurT on 24/9/05 10:32PM [ Reply | Permalink | Report ]

ARM in half of all netbooks by 2012, says analyst
Linux Today reports that an industry analyst reckons that ARM chips will surpass Intel's Atom chips in 55 percent of netbooks by 2012 - however, another analyst suggests ARM will only get 10 to 20 percent.

ARM shows off prototype netbooks
A number of RISC OS users have called for a port of their favourite operating system to the range of ARM-powered netbooks unveiled last week. It is understood at least one of the devices features a processor compatible with the ARM Cortex-A8, for which a RISC OS port is being brewed over at RISC OS Open.
