On Firefox port updated to release number eight:

The option to switch off images is one thing I like about Firefox which I haven't been able to do since my Fresco days; as far as I am aware NetSurf doesn't have this option. As has already been said, with JS switched off, apart from start-up time, there isn't much speed difference between FF and NS. Incidentally, whatever platform I'm on I always limit the cache/history to its minimum. Well done and thanks to Peter for his hard work and commitment to RISC OS.

On RISCWorld mag back-issues reprinted online for free:

This is a great addition to the online RISC OS resources and thank you very much to those involved for their efforts.

To those making negative comments: PLEASE stop. It will be the first thing potential RISC OS users pick up on -- and the quickest way to turn them off.

On RISC OS 5 port hopes for netbook now in production:

On the AlwaysInnovating website: "We don't really do Windows". We don't really DO Windows. I like that!

But seriously, if we could have a sort of essential RO portable with email, internet, a graphics package (other than Draw), desktop publisher - I would be willing to invest a couple or three hundred. It would be nice to have a packaged version but I suppose that would add to the cost.

On BBC to record film on Acorn versus Sinclair in the 1980s:

And good that we do a choice. Well, those of us that know there is more to life than Windows. However, compared to the 8 bit days, three is VERY limited.

On Last issue of Foundation RISCWorld published:

This is sad indeed. Thank you to Aaron for his hard work over the years. Though perhaps he might yet play the oldest trick of the business world and re-launch the magazine in a rebranded form....
