On NetSurf on RISC OS faces axe:

It would be a real pity if support for the RISC OS end was dropped, I hope someone comes forward with the necessary skills and enthusiasm. Fortunately the latest version of Firefox is much improved and runs fairly fast. Thanks Chocky !

On First screenshot: Beagleboard runs RISC OS 5 desktop:

Fantastic, well done Jeffrey. Best news for RISC OS in years. Is it possible to turn the beagleboard into a netbook/laptop with the right battery packs and a screen ?

On More Vpod rumours surface:

Or maybe V is the Roman Numeral for 5, so that the Vpod has 5 features rather than the three in the UNIpod ?

On Will Wakefield 2009 see a new graphics card for RISC OS?:

This sounds very interesting ! There may be life in the old RPC yet. Looking forward to Wakefield then, especially as my RPC has neither Unipod nor Viewfinder.

On Iyonix range taken off the market:

A sad day and am very sorry to hear this news. I guess the only thing left to say is a big thank you to Castle for producing the Iyonix and all their hard work over the years. Cheers.

On Ditching desktops for portables: The way forward?:

Sure applications are important and the lack of certain functionality is a major concern for RISC OS today - but the article highlights a real opportunity. It would be fantastic to have a portable native RISC OS option. With the Castle/ROOL initiative could this become a reality ? - maybe RISC OS Connect would be a way of providing the funds/programmer time to achieve this ?
