Will I still be writing articles?

Oh yes, it's hard to break the habit of a lifetime!

On Archive ed Paul quits magazine:

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm sorry to duck out, but I think I've done a fair stint. Yes, I was worried about my baby's future until I thought about Jim as a possible successor - there's no-one better or more suited. I'm so pleased that he's agreed. Shows: Yes, I should be around for a while to come, God willing. I could help Jim on the stand, perhaps, if he'll have me. (I wouldn't want to have to *pay* to get into an Acorn show!) Bow ties: Ah, yes I'd forgotten them. I guess you could argue that they are part of the "intellectual property" that I'm passing on to Jim!

On Archive booklets review part two:

I've asked many times over the years for articles about Zap, but no-one has ever obliged.

There are a dozen or so hints and tips about Zap, but not enough to fill a 5 quid booklet, I fear.

Sorry.

On Archive booklets review part one:

Thanks for such an in-depth review, Chris; I wasn't expecting anything quite so detailed.

Just to say about the Virtual RiscPC booklet, Volume 2 is in prepartion - we're just doing an index which will cover the two volumes. Hopefully, it should be ready before Christmas, though probably not in time for the RISC OS RoadShows.

On Archive mag compiles articles into books:

Booklet 5 is Internet Searching Booklets 6 & 7 are about StrongED (two booklets at 48 pages each)

I've sent details to Chris@Drobe and to c.s.a.a.

I'd better add "Buy 5 or more, pay only 4 per booklet".
