On Website management app now supports secure FTP:

This is good news. SiteMatch is a great app, and now I can use it with more of my sites.

On Wakefield 2008 show live news:

arawnsley:

Are you planning to PRODUCTIZE your RISCBook Mini? I could be sorely tempted by one - if the price difference from a vanilla Eee were not too vast, and the speed not too tiny.

(I'm already sorely tempted by a Linux Eee, and I suspect I might get some actual use out of RISC OS version. As opposed to merely playing with it.)

On Qercus columnist soldiers on after blog storm:

rjek: Yes. Hoping to give him the benefit of the doubt, I just went through all 15 pages of google results for the search "I think there is an increasingly strong case for compulsory sterilisation" (including in the quotes) and couldn't find a page that wasn't quoting him.

Which doesn't, of course, prove no page exists, but still.

On Open source Organizer pondered:

killermike: Not sure if your post was in reply to mine or not, but my point was that if Organizer could synch with Google Calendar, then, it would, effectively be synched with my mobile device. (Calendarwise, at least.)

This would work for any mobile device that supports Google Calendar synching, whereas if Organizer were to synch directly, support would have to be written for many different devices, the ranks of which have a pretty rapid turnover.
