Get RISC OS running on Puppy Linux with RPCEmu
As demonstrated at the South West 2009 show, Paul Stewart has managed to produce not only a guide to getting RPCEmu up and running on Puppy Linux - a light-weight and user-friendly flavour of Linux - he's also produced a live CD so anyone interested in trying out RISC OS can boot straight into Linux and test drive the OS.

RISC OS South West show this weekend
The RISC OS South West Show 2009 will be held at the Webbington Hotel, Loxton, near Axbridge, North Somerset, on Saturday, February 21 from 10am to 3.30pm. Entry is free and the hotel provides free wireless internet access. The list of exhibitors includes: Archive magazine, RISCOS Ltd, MW software, CJE Micros, David Snell, Qercus, Fortran Friends, RComp, Mathmagical, Graham Mottram, John Norris, Michael Gerbracht (LuaFox), Serious Statistical Software and the Midlands User Group.

How to convince more websites to work with the RISC OS Firefox port
Although the Firefox port for RISC OS can access far more websites than any other web browser on the platform, it's still locked out of some sites because it doesn't declare itself as Firefox to web servers. Here Paul Stewart explains how to make the port tango with more picky websites.

Midland Christmas show this Saturday
The Midland Christmas 2008 RISC OS show is fast approaching - pencil Saturday, December 6 in your diaries. For the organisers, the Midlands User Group, this is a big challenge. While they co-organised the last one with the ARM Club, the organisation for this year's event has been primarily a MUG affair.

RISC OS artist wows public with digital artwork
A RISC OS-using artist has described exhibiting his digitally-created work in a public gallery as a "rewarding experience". Richard Ashbery, who used ArtWorks and Photodesk to create his images, showed off patterns and colourful illustrations to punters, who told him his work made a change from the oils and watercolour masterpieces usually exhibited.
